Jai Aai Axom

 Objective : 

Jai Aai Axom is a three word slogan that is purely a thunderous slogan of the heart of every Assamese people and every indigeneous tribe of North East that states Hail Mother assam. A sentiment that has been poking us since more than a decade- a sentiment that says 'aamaar horolawtatu aamaar durbolawta buli loi' our innocence is taken to be our weakness- a sentiment that we have imbibed from our grandparents to live a fulfilling and prosperous life on our own by learning to cultivate paddy. Rice is our staple food. Gradually we have learned to produce different produce of/from rice. Right from the cuckoo bird heralding the Spring season to the cuckoo bird luring us to sleep after penning a few poetic words and phrases has been passe as we went to a foreign in looks land in search of a good life leaving our own land Assam behind.Sigh.We now have resolved to develop our motherland Assam to a world class country. The objective of Team JAA(Jai Aai Axom) is to organise an All Assam Art and Photography and select the award winning pictures to be put up in one rupee currency note, two rupee currency note,fiverupee currency note, ten rupee currency note, twenty rupee currency note, fifty rupee currency note, hundred rupee currency note, five hundred rupee currency note and one thousand rupee currency note. So beloved comrades kindly spread the word about the competition and be a part of it. We would also have events like recitation, singing, fashion show, some riddles and skits where you are welcome to participate. Wheather you are from Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam or Sikkim all are welcome to participate in the events.
